Drug Emergencies

Always call 999. This could be for a physical or mental health emergency. The emergency services, including police, have a priority for preserving life. In an emergency situation:

  • Call 999 (or 112 internationally)
  • Be honest about what you think the person has taken, how much and when
  • Stay with the casualty until help arrives
  • Find out more about drug emergencies here.

General Support

Here are some services that offer immediate support and may be open when we are not.

Mental health can be an emergency too – call 999 and ask for an ambulance if someone’s physical or mental health needs immediate attention.
